General Electives - this category offers an exploratory approach toward a variety of different vocational and human growth options. Courses frequently offered include art, foods and nutrition, photography, physical education, Spanish, and computers.
Each student receives a Student Learning Plan (SLP). It is an amended form of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) that targets specific strengths and barriers to academic and personal success. The SLP also identifies specific individualize goals and the strategies to accomplish those goals.

Step-by-Step Explanation of Enrollment Process
In order for a student to be enrolled at OSS they must complete the following steps:
Return an admissions packet with all the necessary forms neatly and completely filled out.
Successfully complete an interview with the school administrator, prospective student, and parent or legal guardian.
